Terms and Conditions for Charities
Cashback Rewards Ltd – Charities Terms and Conditions
By enrolling as a charity or other good cause (as defined below) wishing to benefit from donations via the Cashback Rewards Scheme (as featured on the cashback-rewards.co.uk website) you agree that you have read and understand this Agreement and that your membership in the Scheme will conform to its Terms and Conditions (hereinafter called “Terms”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
- By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms you must immediately stop using the Website.
2. Charity and Good Cause Member accounts
- A Charity is defined as any charity which is registered with the Charities Commission in the UK as a charity. We may require appropriate evidence of such registration.
- Cashback Rewards Ltd defines a Good Cause as a not for profit organisation, whose sole intention is to raise awareness of those less fortunate than others and performs charitable actions to assist those groups or individuals. Any good cause needs to demonstrate that it meets professional standards of management and Cashback Rewards Ltd reserves the right to make appropriate investigations and request evidence before accepting an application for membership. Good Causes are accepted totally at the discretion of Cashback Rewards Ltd and are subject to review and termination of their account at any time.
- Cashback Rewards Ltd reserves the right to refuse to accept an application on behalf of a Charity or Good Cause and the right to cancel any memberships at any time without liability or explanation.
- Members and / or staff of a Charity / Good Cause may open a members account if they so wish. Said account will be treated as a personal account and the members Terms and Conditions will apply
- The Charity Agrees to display a prominent direct link to the Cashback Rewards website on the Charities main website.(this link may be the charities refferal link so that the charity is able to earn from the link)
3. The Cashback Scheme
- When Members place an order with one of the Merchant’s via this website they will earn a percentage cashback sum in the amount specified by the Merchant in their offer Members may make a donation to a Charity or Good cause but they do so voluntarily. Under no circumstances are they compelled to donate. They make their donation direct to the Charity or Good Causes account held at Cashback Rewards Ltd
- Cashback Rewards Ltd does not collect on behalf of the Charities or Good Causes. We purely supply the means to allow the Charities or Good Causes to put their rationale for needing donations before our members, and supply members with the tools to make that donation, and, where appropriate, allow the member to Gift Aid their donation
- All payment details, donation details and Gift Aid details are printable from the charities / good causes own control panel
- All monies donated to Charities or Good Causes are the property of the relevant Charities or Good Causes.
- Cashback Rewards does at its own descretion add a an additional percentage of the member donation to the charities account, this percentage may vary from time to time. This is currently set at 5% (1st March 2008) (previouse percentage 10% ended 29th February 2008 reason for change, Members cashback percentage increased)
