hi chris i have installed the toolbar but it doesnt seem to be anywhere on my ie6 ive looked in the toolbar bit and its not there for me to tick either...any suggestions??

have just rebooted and its still not there plus the points havent gone on either but i have installed it corrctly is there anything else i am suppose to be doing once installation is complete and the close box comes up??

Hang on i am using IE7

I will boot a comp that has ie6 on it and let you know if i find a problem

Points dont get added untill you log in the toolbar

Hi,

I have installed the toolbar, no problems at all [IE7, Windows Media]

Early days yet but it's looking gooood, I really like it so far

That would explain it, the toolbar hasn't been tested on ME. All testing has been done for XP sorry

Perhaps if you really are clueless you might be the best person to test the toolbar! especially if you are using Internet Exporer and windows XP

I've just noticed on another thread that Chris said you need to have your settings set to 'remember me' for you to get your points

those that didnt get points when installing the toolbar because their setting were not set to remember me, dont worry, when Ian has sorted this bit out you will get the points.

Hi MettaP, no question is stupid

The link to the toolbar isnt available yet, i have emailed the link to a few volunteers who are giving feed back on the toolbar.

There are one or 2 things that have been reported and need sorting out after which it will be released to every one, there will be a link at the foot of each page and also at the foot of offers emails that are sent out

Hello Ive just installed the toolbar today! I have tried to install it a couple of times before but it didnt work properly. Anyway I upgraded mozilla and installed it today and it is working yay. How soon before points are added?

If I'm wrong, Chris will correct me tomorrow and let you know...

Thanks suzanne.I have logged in with it a couple of times already and it has made no difference but it is the weekend after all.
When I log in it goes to the log in page where I have clicked 'remember me' but I still have to click on the acknowledge button before it says im logged in. dont know if that affects things.

blanchewhite, You need to log into the toolbar itself.

on the left hand side of the toolbar you will see the Sign In button, click this and it will open the sign in page on the site, once you have signed in all the toolbar functions will be available to you and your points will be added to your account.

Thanks chris,I have been doing just that.Ive tried in firefox.I did get the toolbar once before and had the exact same trouble on IE so i went back into that to see if it would acknowledge my existence this time but it doesn't. No idea what it is that stops it being acknowledged.
I sign in on the toolbar and it brings me to the log in page and I tick the submit thing and Im logged in but no difference to anything.
I did check back to make sure I hadn't received points from last time I tried to download to (IE)but cant see any sign of them in the points records.

Points for installing the toolbar are now set to 200.

This is in line with the planned increase in Cashback, as you may have noticed all new retailers added to the site are now going on at the increased rate.

I can't get the toolbar to install on Firefox. It downloads it but when I try to install it, Firefox refuses it because the toolbar does not accept secure updates.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread here but..............

Vista doesn't like the toolbar

I managed to download, install and then log in using it but then IE stopped working.
Every time I tried to open a new browser window it just said that there was a problem and windows was closing IE down

Had to uninstall via control panel before I could get back online

The toolbar is being is being fazed out, you may continue to use it on the browsers listed on the download page.

But the toolbar will not function in FireFox 3 and up, or in Vista or newer.

Support will continue to be available for the toolbar in the listed browsers.

Mirian, if you read the previous post to yours, Chris points out that it won't function on Firefox, Vista, etc and is being phased out, so nothing can be done about it!
